Donnacha Mac Gearailt is to be awarded the gold medal by the Institute of Chemistry of Ireland for the highest mark in Leaving Certificate (Honours) Chemistry in 2014. His teacher was Ms. N. O’ Sullivan.

In 2013 Alison Mullins received the gold medal for the best result in Leaving Certificate (Honours) Biology. Her teacher was Ms. N. Delaney.

The U-16 girls’ basketball team will play in the All Ireland Final shortly.

Congradulations to Donnacha Fitzgerald, Kevin Ryan and Meg O'Sullivan who were awarded UCC Quercus Entrance Scholarships. The ceremony was held in Devere Hall, UCC. Scholarships were presented by Dr. Michael Murphy, President,UCC. In all 70 academic scholarships were awarded.
